latex-cjk-thai software package provides Thai module of LaTeX CJK, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install latex-cjk-thai
latex-cjk-thai is installed in your system.
Make ensure the latex-cjk-thai package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep latex-cjk-thai *
You will get with latex-cjk-thai package name, version, architecture and description in a table
